The Top 5 Hybrid Strains of 2022

Now that we’re almost halfway through 2022, it’s time we finally drop the list of our top 5 favorite hybrid strains of the year. We know that we have a lot of hybrid lovers out there, so we had to take our time with this one. Without further adieu:

1. OG Kush

This indica-heavy hybrid is a trifecta blend of Chemdawg, Hindu Kush indica, and Lemon Thai sativa. This potent strain is best suited for our THC lovers, as there is no CBD to be found here. We recommend that beginners start slowly with this one, but experienced users will love this powerful relaxant.

2. Cherry Pie

The parental origins of this delicious hybrid are Granddaddy Purple (GDP) indica and F1 Durban sativa. Another THC-heavy strain, Cherry Pie is the perfect flavorful mix between sweet and sour. Similar to eating a real cherry pie, people love the euphoric effects they get from this giggly strain.

3. Blue Dream

What do you get when you mix Blueberry indica with Haze sativa? One of the sweetest, dreamiest hybrids of all time. Blue Dream has been one of the most popular strains for over a decade, thanks to its timeless, happy-go-lucky high. There’s a reason it always tops our list, so if you haven’t tried Blue Dream already, 2022 is the time to do it!

4. White Widow

This classic hybrid is loved by growers and users alike, so it’s no surprise that White Widow made our list. This exotic strain is a cross between Brazilian sativa and South Indian indica, and contains equal parts THC and CBD. When evenly combined like this, THC and CBD give each other a boost, resulting in a powerful, euphoric strain.

5. Gorilla Glue

This popular hybrid is another mix of three strains: Diesel sativa, Sour Dubb hybrid, and Chem Sis hybrid. This complex strain is packed with flavors from all three, making it a popular ingredient for edibles. High in THC and low in CBD, this strain is famous for its intense head high.
